Every month, area Seniors gather together for worship, fellowship, and fun at local Churches. The Seniors Ministry is a combined effort of Gum Springs Methodist Church, Elpis Christian Church, Holly Grove Christian Church, and other area churches. It is one way to further the Mission of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) to unite all Christians in the body of Christ to fulfill his purpose. About 30 Seniors attended this month's event, held at Holly Grove, and included music accompanied by Rev. Simrell of Elpis on the piano, and a drawing for the unique crocheted Chicken centerpieces made by a member of our crafters mission circle.
